1. Prepare a USB flash disk with FAT32 / NTFS file system, and change the volume label to WINPE.
2. Prepare the install files in root the direction of your USB flash disk.
3. Plug the USB flash disk into Mini PC, and connect a keyboard.

  Plex and Windows 10
Posted by: SSThing - 09-15-2015, 05:10 AM - Forum: MeLE PCG03 - Replies (4)

I had Plex Home Theatre running on my machine perfectly well under Windows 8.
Since upgrading to Windows 10 I am unable to get Plex to work. It will install but I cannot get past the setup screens once it begins first run. I have tried usb keyboard and mouse and an air mouse but nothing will let me select (press) any of the option buttons.

Can you please help?
Thank you.

The F10 Deluxe scored pretty well in this air mouse review article. Tied for first overall in the keyboard\remote category.

I heard that you can upgrade MeLE PCG03 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I have few questions about that.

1. Can I install windows 10 from scratch from bootable usb drive if i have my own Windows 10 key?
2. Will windows 8.1 drivers work on Windows 10?
3. Will you provide drivers for Windows 10?
4. From where can I obtain updated bios firmware? ( there is information about it in FAQ but there are no links to firmware)
5. Can I set in bios time when MeLE PCG03 will wake up?

Thank you in advance for a quick response.

  Locked Out of BIOS
Posted by: DJH - 06-07-2015, 02:12 AM - Forum: MeLE PCG03 - Replies (1)

Hello. Long story short, I accidentally disabled USB legacy mode in the BIOS. I was trying to troubleshoot why I couldn't boot off my USB stick. My device has no operating system installed, so it will only boot to the EFI shell screen. Since legacy USB has been disabled, I'm unable to get a keyboard to function because of it, so I'm pretty much locked out of the device. I removed the cover but did not see a BIOS recovery jumper on the board. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset or clear the BIOS? Even though there is no jumper, is there a couple of points on the board that when shorted, could reset the BIOS back to default?

IR learning not working with Denon & Panasonic
Posted by: Haldi - 05-30-2015, 11:59 AM - Forum: F10 Deluxe - No Replies

I have been using the F10 Deluxe for a few days and must say it's a great device.
After an initial Test at my Computer I wanted to use it on my HTPC. But the IR learning function does not seem to work for my HiFi equipment.

I've successfully testet the IR capabilities on a Philips Stereo and a Cocktail Audio HiFi. But I've tried now several times on a Denon AVR-X1000 and a Denon AVR-X 2100 with RC-1192 remote. And the Panasonic DMR-BST820 Blurry/sat receiver with remote IR 6 and TV Panasonic TH-58PZ800E and used multiple different buttons but none sent any signal.

The learning process seems to work fine as the red light is blinking fast and then slow again after it has been learned. The yellow light is flickering when the button is pressed. The TV just doesn't react at all.

Anyone knows what's going on?

  Wake up system by keyboard?
Posted by: DrFGHde - 05-10-2015, 08:08 PM - Forum: F10 Deluxe - No Replies

I just purchased a Mele F10 Deluxe Air Mouse and I do like it.
I use it to control an HTPC running Kodi (a.k.a. XBMC) on Windows 8.1.
Everything works just fine. The power button on the top left puts the system into hibernation as desired.
No key, however, wakes the HTPC up from hibernation.
Another USB keyboard is able to wake the HTPC up if any key is pressed. So the system is configured correctly.
The Mele keyboard is allowed to wake up Windows in the device settings, but it does not do this.

1) Does the Mele USB driver support wake-up from standby or hibernation?
2) Can I download an updated driver from somewhere that adds this function?
3) Does the development of Mele read this forum and is there a chance that this function is added if missing?
